Visakhapatnam: YSRCP government weakened the gram panchayat system in Andhra Pradesh by diverting their funds and hampering the developmental works in the villages across state, said alliance Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha candidate M Sribharath.

Participated in the election campaign in Tummikapalli, Mangalapalem villages in Srungavarapukota mandal here on Tuesday, he said that panchayat funds play a vital for small panchayats’ development initiatives such as road construction, installation of street lights, and bore repairs.
