He directed the superintendent to make ready TTD's Srinivasam as the second Covid care centre in Tirupati immediately as the first such centre Sri Padmavati Nilayam was having more than 360 positive patients now.

On priority basis, after Srinivasam, focus will be laid on Vishnu Nivasam for which TTD has already given its nod while Madhavam will be meant for doctors' quarantine only. The Collector immediately contacted the officials at the Director of Medical Education office and asked them to provide one soon. He also stressed the need to take up intensive campaign on the use of masks and physical distancing.

Earlier, he visited Sri Padmavati Covid care centre also to take stock of the situation there. On the occasion, he stressed the need to provide good food to the patients which is essential in increasing the immunity. He tasted rice and chapathi etc., prepared for the patients and expressed satisfaction.
