The torch-bearer of women-centric movies, Anushka Shetty, is back with 'Nishabdam,' wherein, she plays the role of a mute artist Sakshi. Directed by Hemant Madhurkar, the film boasts an ensemble cast including Madhavan, Shalini Pandey, Anjali and 'Kill Bill' fame Michael Madsen in important roles.

On Wednesday, the makers have unveiled the first look posters of 'Nishabdam.' Going by the posters, it is clear that the film will be released in four languages namely Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and English (titled 'Silence').

In the suspense thriller, the 'Bahubali' actress essays the role of a vocally impaired artist named Sakshi. She sports a new hairdo for the film, which is set against the backdrop of Seattle in the USA. In the poster, Anushka bears a confused expression as she paints something on the canvas.

Earlier, it was reported that 'Nishabdam' is a silent thriller and the actress had to learn sign language to add authenticity to her character. Sources reveal that the shooting has been wrapped up and the post-production is progressing at a swift pace.

'Nishabdam' is jointly produced by People Media Factory and Kona Film Corporation and it is one of the much-awaited movies in Tollywood.
