A proposal to start a petrol filling station on the outskirts of the town has been submitted to the department, Sub-jailor Ganesh told The Hans India. He said the station would be operated by the inmates of the local sub-jail and is awaiting the approval of the department.

Butchers selling goat and sheep mutton are making huge profits while the people are falling ill after eating the same mutton. This is apparent from the muttons shops at Karimnagar X roads and old bus shelter here. The vendors are selling mutton that was exposed to flies, dust and which is rotten. People, who buy meat from here, are being prone to diseases such as malaria and typhoid.
