Looks like home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde is having sleepless nights ever his declaration on Telangana. The ongoing agitations, pro-Telangana rallies and Samaikyandhra movement has kept Shinde on his toes. The last few days have been particularly trying times for Shinde. With Andhra Pradesh literally turning into a battle field, Shinde has his hands full figuring out how best to deal with the situation.

With the situation in the state going out of control and massive power cuts bringing the state to a halt, there has been talk of bringing Andhra Pradesh under the president's rule. However, the home minister is quick to dismiss any such rumours.

On Tuesday, he told reporters in Delhi: "No plan to impose President's rule in Andhra Pradesh." Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde told reporters in Delhi on Tuesday"Power crisis is the only cause for concern. The chief minister is trying his best resolve the issues and bring back normalcy in the state," he said.
