Motkupalli may join Congress
TDP MLA Motkupalli Narsimhulu May Join Congress. Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is likely to face another jolt in Telangana region as the party senior leader Motkupalli Narsimhulu is contemplating to quit the TDP and join the Congress party. Narasimhulu has been sulking ever since he was denied the Rajya Sabha seat. Despite the efforts of Naidu to convince him that the party would take care of his poll expenses, the party leader failed to reconcile.

Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is likely to face another jolt in Telangana region as the party senior leader Motkupalli Narsimhulu is contemplating to quit the TDP and join the Congress party. Narasimhulu has been sulking ever since he was denied the Rajya Sabha seat. Despite the efforts of Naidu to convince him that the party would take care of his poll expenses, the party leader failed to reconcile.
It is learnt that the Dalit leader was holding consultations with his followers. Meanwhile, senior Congress leader K Jana Reddy is said to be in touch with Narsimhulu and was trying to prevail upon him to join the Congress party. In fact, Jana Reddy had contacted Narsimhulu soon after he was denied the Rajya Sabha ticket by Naidu.
The ruling party feels that Narsimhulu’s entry into the Congress would help the party get the support from SCs in the constituency. Jana Reddy was said to have assured the TDP leader that he would convince the Congress party high command to admit him.
