Hyderabad: More 45 Lakh Seized. On Tuesday, during the snap check operations carried out by the Charminar Police, the team found illegal possession of Rs 45L by an unidentified person.
Hyderabad: On Tuesday, during the snap check operations carried out by the Charminar Police, the team found illegal possession of Rs 45L by an unidentified person. He was transporting the said amount by hiding it in his bike, when the police held him. The amount has been seized by the police while detaining the accused.
In another incident, early on Tuesday at Narayanaguda in Hyderabad, the police have seized Rs 60L from a car which has been illegally possessed by three individuals originally hailing from Mumbai. Apart from seizing the cash and car, the trio has also been detained by the police.
It is evident that the police have been carrying out search operations in view of the ominous elections for quite sometime. Approximately Rs 100cr has already been seized by now alone in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. As the elections are nearing, the amount seized everyday is on a rise. It is estimated that approximately Rs 200cr will be seized by the time the elections are concluded.
