Sonia falls sick, calls off Maha rallies

Mumbai: Congress President Sonia Gandhi has called off her Maharashtra visit on Sunday due to health reasons, party sources said. She was scheduled to address campaign rallies in Nandurbar and Dhule in north Maharashtra and another one in Mumbai. The sources said party vice-president Rahul Gandhi would address the meeting in Mumbai. Meanwhile, Rahul’s public meeting in Lalganj which was scheduled to be held on Sunday was cancelled. Langanj falls in party president Sonia Gandhi’s Raebareli constituency and Rahul was scheduled to address a public meeting at Baiswara college.
