Dieting while being thin – This is the most direct sign that an individual is trying to get anorexic. There is no point losing weight if the body is within the permissible levels of BMI. The people who are dieting despite that are headed to obsessive measures to look thinner.
Food obsession – A person headed to anorexia is super obsessed with food information. The calories of each food, measuring food portions before eating every day, reading diet related books – all these are possible hazard symptoms to watch out for.
Lying about eating – This is another red flag. Anorexic people lie about food intake. They end up eating very little or nothing, yet claiming that they had a complete meal.
