Former Chief Minister and Jai Samaikyandhra Party chief N Kiran Kumar Reddy held road shows in the City on Thursday. While the crowd was moderate in Jubilee Hills, at Naredmet Crossroads the turnout was poor. He was accompanied by party Malkajgiri Assembly and LS candidates Pitla Srini Raju and Srinivas Goud. Kiran Reddy told the gathering the ‘State and Telugus were divided based on false propaganda and lies. The Congress, BJP, TDP, TRS and YSRCP were all responsible for the State’s division’. He reiterated that the bifurcation would affect both States; Telangana in particular would face acute water and electricity crisis. Referring to TRS president KCR’s claim that jobs held by Seemandhra staff will be up for grabs, Kiran said he tried to relocate 14,000 employees, but about 5,000 of them had approached the High Court, which stayed the process.
