BJP Loses Credibility in Telangana?. Before the bifurcation of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party had a strong hold in Telangana region.
Hyderabad: Before the bifurcation of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party had a strong hold in Telangana region. Nevertheless, now it seems that the scene is reversed. According to the political analysts, the decisions taken by the BJP in the centre have been posing a question mark on the survival of the Party in the state. It is the BJP top cadre itself who feel that the decisions undertaken by the BJP in the centre have become curses to them in the state.

In Telangana, the BJP has a vote bank of 17%. If the party strives hard for five years continuously, it can establish its government with the help of some or other party in the state. The two major issues – inclusion of 7 mandals of submerged areas under Polavaram and entrusting the power of the law and order of Hyderabad to the governor, which are against the interests of Telangana people as a whole and the other political parties in general have seemingly dragged the party into ditch.
According to political analysts whatever is negative to one particular party is becoming a positive issue for TRS. Even in this case, BJP’s failure in the state has been wisely utilised by the TRS Party. Once, there was a buzz that the Congress Party has decided to divide the state, envisaging the stronghold of BJP in the state with the help of TRS Party. But, now everything seems to be reversed!!
