About the movie: Set in the early 1900s, the film traces the life of the prodigal math genius Srinivasa Ramanujan from the time he was a young Tamil Brahmin to his years in England, where he attended Cambridge University during World War I. The film follows his relationships with his mother Komalatammal, his wife Janaki, and his collaborator Professor G. H. Hardy. The film will also showcase how Indian society viewed a mathematician of such great stature.

Verdict: The stellar star cast, the performances of each and every actor, the retro look, the set is impressive to say the least.
The movie reminds one of landmark movies like Gandhi which set a new benchmark in Indian Film Industry. Lead actor Abhinay's performance deserves a special mention as there could have been no better person to pull off such a powerful role. The movie posters might mislead a few to thing the product will appeal to only old timers. But watch it to know, it's a misconception.
