One Held With Deadly Weapons. South Zone Task Force police on Friday apprehended Mohd Qadeer alias Qadeer, 19, an auto driver and a resident of Hasan Nagar Tadban of Rajendranagar, along with three deadly weapons i.e. two swords and one dagger, and seized the same from his possession.
Hyderabad: South Zone Task Force police on Friday apprehended Mohd Qadeer alias Qadeer, 19, an auto driver and a resident of Hasan Nagar Tadban of Rajendranagar, along with three deadly weapons i.e. two swords and one dagger, and seized the same from his possession.
According to police, Qadeer was arrested while he was waiting infront of the Shah Function Hall, Kalapathar, Hyderabad with the weapons wrapped and concealed in a gunny bag. He was trying to sell the said weapons to the prospective customers for the sum of Rs 3,000.
During interrogation, he confessed that his father about four to five years ago procured the weapons during his visit to Ajmer Dargah from unknown Sardarji and brought to Hyderabad and concealed in a box at their house.
On Friday, the accused took out the weapons from the box with an intention to sell them to meet his expenses.
Police handed over the accused and the seized material to the Kalapathar police staion for taking further action against him.
