Shiv Sena Forces Fasting Muslim on Roza to Eat. In a dreadful incident, as many as 11 members of Parliament belonging to BJP’s ally, Shiv Sena forced a Muslim staffer, who was fasting for Ramzan to eat food at the Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi, according to sources. The MPs were allegedly upset over not being served Maharashtrian food.
New Delhi: In a dreadful incident, as many as 11 members of Parliament belonging to BJP’s ally, Shiv Sena forced a Muslim staffer, who was fasting for Ramzan to eat food at the Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi, according to sources. The MPs were allegedly upset over not being served Maharashtrian food.
An acquiescent has been made officially to the Maharashtra resident commissioner Bipin Mallick by IRCTC, the Indian Railways subsidiary catering for Mahrashtra Sadan. All operations by IRCTC have been halted in remonstration.
According to the report, the MPs misbehaved with the staff at the dining area. The staffer, Arshad Zubair has been severely hurt by the indecent behaviour of the MPs during the holy month of Ramzan. The Maharashtra government has promised apposite action against the MPs after a detailed probe. The MPs however deny the allegations, added sources.
