A Modern Pharma City: Another Feather in The Telangana Cap. The latest addition to the industrial sector in the Telangana is a world class Pharma City, which is to be set up at state capital Hyderabad.
The latest addition to the industrial sector in the Telangana is a world class Pharma City, which is to be set up at state capital Hyderabad. A delegation of Bulk Drug Manufacturers Association (India) claimed that 30% medicines to the US are exported from Telangana. The Association gave a presentation to the Chief Minister KCR appealing for a Pharma city. This mega project will include residential colonies for five lakh people apparently to be engaged by the industries.
The project is set to come up in 12months and is in close to major highways and railway lines. To be spread over an area of 7,000-8,000 acres, the city will have most modern facilities, pollution free climate and 500MW power plant. The CM said, “Once the Pharma city is developed, many drug industries will start move there”.
