McKinsey To Help AP In Capital Building. Mckinsey Company has agreed to offer six weeks of free consultancy services to the Andhra Pradesh government in building the new capital. The company has submitted a report to the government on world class capitals in the world.

The company has come forward to work on full-time basis if the government gives its nod and would submit a comprehensive report within six weeks: AP Municipal Administration Minister K Narayana.

Hyderabad: Mckinsey Company has agreed to offer six weeks of free consultancy services to the Andhra Pradesh government in building the new capital. The company has submitted a report to the government on world class capitals in the world.

Stating this, AP Municipal Administration Minister and chairman for the capital committee K Narayana told media that the company has come forward to work on full-time basis if the government gives its nod and would submit a comprehensive report within six weeks.

Narayana said the government was of the view that capital should be between Guntur and Vijayawada. However, the State committee on capital would hold deliberations on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Sivaramakrishan committee would meet AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on the same day. The Minister also hinted at the possibility of raising the property tax in municipalities.
