Huge Quantity of Cheap Liquor Seized. After a short hiatus for just a few days, on Saturday morning, the excise police seized 1000 packets of cheap liquor near Gokul chat which was being transported on a scooter.
Hyderabad: After a short hiatus for just a few days, on Saturday morning, the excise police seized 1000 packets of cheap liquor near Gokul chat which was being transported on a scooter. The excise police has held two persons apart from seizing the liquor. More details are awaited.
In the recent past, during the recent general elections, Hyderabad has become the gateway for illegal possession and transportation of liquor. Many such incidents have come into the light during that time. Despite the fact that the excise police are vigilant, many such untoward incidents have been taking place, giving a way for many misgivings. Though it appeared that the cheap liquor issues have come down, with the recent incidents, the Saturday incident has given the indication that Hyderabad turns to be the most befitting gateway for the illegal transportation of the cheap liquor.
