Khammam: The all-party meeting held at CPI-ML New Democracy office here on Sunday passed a unanimous resolution seeking the repeal of Polavaram ordinance. The meet also urged the Telangana State government to implement all the welfare schemes in the submerged areas and to fight a legal battle over the merger of seven mandals with Andhra Pradesh.

It was decided to organise a massive public meeting at Kunavaram on August 3 to bring the issue to the notice of the public. All the villages in the submergence areas will pass resolutions against the merger and forward them to Central and State governments.
