The deceased identified as Tarun, 7, who was battling for his life since five days at Yasodha Hospital in Secunderabad died on Monday at 6.30 pm. It may be recalled that a total of 16 died and 20 injured in the mishap that took place on Thursday. All the injured students were admitted to Yasodha Hospital. Tarun, son of a farmer, sustained a severe head injury, a right ear injury along with loss of skin and cartilage, among other wounds in the shocking mishap.

Lokesh calls on injured kids at Yashoda; Gives Rs 50,000 to each bereaved family

Hyderabad: TDP Coordinator Nara Lokesh on Monday promised to provide Rs 1 lakh financial help to the families of the schoolchildren, who were killed in the train–school bus collision at Masaipet in Medak district recently. The TDP leader visited the Yashoda hospital and consoled the injured children who were undergoing treatment and also enquired about their health condition from the doctors. He handed over cheques for Rs 50,000 to each family of the injured on behalf of NTR Memorial Trust.

Lokesh said the survived children in the accident would be provided free education in NTR Memorial School if their parents agreed to it.

10 kids injured as school bus rams two cars

Hyderabad: Barely five days after the Masaipet train-bus accident exposed the lackadaisical attitude of driver in which 15 students were killed, around 10 students of Reqelford International School were injured when the speeding bus they were travelling in rammed into two cars at Rampally area in Rangareddy district on Monday.

Angry locals and family members of the injured students thrashed the school bus driver accusing him of being drunk and driving the bus negligently. The injured students were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment and reported to be stable.
