Sri V. Prakash has received standing ovation from the guests and his outstanding oratory skills / speech has captivated the guests on various topics related to Telangana. The focus was on how NRIs can help rebuild Telangana state into a Bangaru Telangana.

Highlights:

The event was started with lamp lighting by Telangana Adabiddalu followed by a dance worshipping lord Ganesha.

Observed one minute silence in memory of Telangana martyrs followed by singing our state song.

Dance programs, Songs and Skits by kids has entertained 250 odd guests and special thanks to our kids for their outstanding performance in all areas and sticking to Telangana culture. In these times when movie songs are taking precedence over nativity, the kids have shown marvelous performance of Telangana Songs, Language and culture. We like to extend our appreciation to Kids parents as well who encouraged them to adapt Telangana culture.

Sri V. Prakash explained in detail all the incentives and public private investment opportunities available to Canadian Telangana NRI’s. During one on one interaction with Telanganites, he has answered all questions raised by the guests.

A memorandum was presented to the University of Guelph representatives through Sri V. Prakash inviting them to establish R & D centre in our state by taking advantage of the investor friendly policies of Telangana state government. Our objective is to integrate Telangana Government and University Of Guelph, known for its research and advancement in the field of agriculture and organic products, thereby establish research facilities in our State.

PowerPoint presentations were given to the guests about various ways how the well-established Telangana NRIs in Canada can help new immigrants / students coming from our state and also, on how we can extend helping hands to rural Telangana youth who are aspiring IT jobs in Hyderabad. We will associate with Telangana IT Association (TITA) in this aspect.

Felicitation of Telanganites took place who involved in 1969 agitation and currently residing in Canada through the hands of Sri V. Prakash. We will never ever forget those who fought for the noble cause of separate statehood of Telangana.

Curtain raiser of quarterly eMagazine took place at the same event through the hands of Sri V. Prakash and the purpose of it is to serve Telangana community in Canada. The first edition will be released soon.

We have also distributed booklets containing Telangana Telugu Padaalu, which have gone into oblivion by the influence of Tollywood movies & Andhra culture. Now with our state we have to revive day to day Telangana words and start using them daily. We Telanganites should feel proud in using our language, our words and our culture irrespective of what audience we are accompanying with.

The Event was concluded with felicitation to Sri. V. Prakash for his outstanding contribution towards Telangana statehood achievement. We thanked him for his continuous and persistent effort for past 2 decades in bringing all Telanganites together across the globe in achieving Telangana State.

A resolution was submitted to honorable Chief Minister of Telangana Sri. K. Chandrashekar Rao signed by all Guests through Sri V. Prakash and invited him to visit Canada.
