World celebrates Eid with a splendor

Intended to be a month long spiritual cleansing, Ramadan is an exercise in self-restraint that commands Muslims to abstain from food and water from sunrise to sunset. Muslims around the world acknowledge this beautiful time of year.

Set up by Prophet Mohammed hundreds of years ago, Eid or Eid ul-Fitr is to celebrate by offering gratitude to the God while indulging in merriment and festal grandeur. While the women dress up in ceremonial dress, men will don new clothes before offering prayers at the mosque. Special prayers, family get-togethers and a lavish spread of biryani, sheer khurma and saalan will mark the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The picture of celebration is reflected across the world. Wishing you all a very Happy Eid-Ul-Fitr!! May this Eid bring to you happiness, success & prosperity
