Amitabh Bachchan named brand ambassador of Maharashtra

Amitabh Bachchan is named as the brand ambassador for the Maharashtra’s Horticultural Ministry. The 71-year-old actor announced it on twitter; and is likely to shoot for a TV campaign to promote the Western state's fruit produce.

The mega star is already a face of Gujarat tourism and polio eradication campaign. The actor said that he is always ready to volunteer for good cause, be it promoting nation’s health or Gujarat’s culture or Maharashtra‘s fruit produce. Maharashtra leads in fruit production of many varieties.
