Hyderabad: KCR, the Chief Minister of Telangana, has put Cabinet expansion on hold for quite sometime now. News made the rounds that KCR would fill up the vacant 6 ministerial posts by the end of June. Nevertheless, he was said to have postponed it till July, seemingly busy with administrative matters and also given the strong lobbying. Sources earlier reported that KCR planned to expand the cabinet only before the next Assembly Session. Now, it seems that the firm belief of Muhurats, KCR, may undertake the expansion in Shravana Masa, the most auspicious month as per Hindu Mythology.

KCR’s cabinet expansion soon?

It is learnt that the Chief Minister KCR is keen on representation from all districts, equally. So, surely in this expansion both Mahabubnagar and Khammam districts would get their share. After calculating various factors like caste, creed, district, gender, community et al, the expansion may surely take place before the second session of the state assembly, as opined by many political analysts.

The buzz also added that in the said expansion Jupalli Krishna Rao, Lakshma Reddy of Mahabubnagar district; Konda Surekha of Warangal district and Koppula Eshawar of Karimnagar district are sure to get the ministries. It is also learnt that the name of Jalagam Venkat Rao is also under the scrutiny.

It is evident that KCR along with 11 ministers has sworn-in as of June 2, the appointed day of Telangana. According to sources, of the 63 MLAs elected from TRS Party, many numbers of MLAs eye to the minister post. Also, so far, there has been no representation in the cabinet from both Mahabubnagar and Khammam districts.
