Medak: Intermediate students die as RTC bus rams
Medak: Intermediate Students Die as RTC Bus Rams. On Wednesday morning, an intermediate student died when an RTC bus ran over him. This incident happened at Athmakur village of Sadashivapet Mandal in Medak district. While the student was making an effort to get into the bus, he fall down from the bus and get under the rear tyre.
Hyderabad: On Wednesday morning, an intermediate student died when an RTC bus ran over him. This incident happened at Athmakur village of Sadashivapet Mandal in Medak district. While the student was making an effort to get into the bus, he fall down from the bus and get under the rear tyre.
The local people became enraged following this accident and tried to assault the driver and the conductor of the bus. The frightened driver and conductor fled away from the spot. The RTC bus is learnt to be belonging to Sangareddy bus depot and was on its way to Sadashivpet from Induru project. More details on the incident are awaited.
RTC buses which have been known for the safe journey have lost their credibility due to the increased number of accidents over a period of time. More than 10 accidents in which the RTC buses were involved have been registered in the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states in the last couple of months. Surely, something is going wrong. There is a need to conduct regular training to the RTC drivers, at this juncture.
