Pattipati Pulla Rao to Write to Centre Over Pesticides. Pattipati Pulla Rao, the Agriculture Minister in Andhra Pradesh state, on Wednesday said that he will write to the Centre for allotment of 2.5L metric tons of pesticides. He said that there was a deficit of 1.17L metric ton pesticides.

Pulla Rao addressed the media in Hyderabad and said that the government will undertake the process of establishing godowns with the help of NABARD. He said that the areas associated with agriculture will be encouraged more. Further, he said that the production of crops will be encouraging if the farmers were encouraged.
Further, he said that they will be looking at all possible measures to get a reasonable rate for the farmers. He said that the sale of the grains will be done in the market yards and said that there was no scarcity of pesticides and grains, so far. Also, he said that the crop loan waiver will take another three months. The minister has made this statement in view of the many doubts that waver in the people’s minds.
