YSR Congress party President Y S Jaganmohan ReddyHyderabad: YSR Congress party President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Wednesday instructed his party cadre to exert pressure on the AP government for the implementation of all promises made by TDP in the election manifesto.

The Opposition Leader held a meeting with the party leaders of 13 districts of AP at his residence in the city and reviewed the party's activities. He stressed the need to launch agitation against the anti-people policies being pursued by the government.

The government, he said, had gone back on the promise to waive farm loan and other programmes. He asserted that the leaders should maintain constant vigil and promote camaraderie with people. The party activists should work shoulder to shoulder with the people.

As the main opposition party, the YSR Congress too has the equal responsibility in ensuring welfare of the people. He also stressed the need to strengthen the party from grassroot level in the new State of Andhra Pradesh. All the district party chiefs and other important leaders were present at the meeting.
