Bharatiya Mahila Bank Ltd has bagged the Core Banking System Initiative Award for the year 2014 at the Asian Banking and Finance - Retail Banking Awards 2014 recently.

Usha Ananthasubramanian, Chairman & Managing Director, Bharatiya Mahila BankHyderabad: Bharatiya Mahila Bank Ltd has bagged the Core Banking System Initiative Award for the year 2014 at the Asian Banking and Finance - Retail Banking Awards 2014 recently. The award was presented at a function in Singapore. “We launched our operations with Core Banking Solutions and ATMs from the day one. This has been achieved within a period of less than two months from the grant of license by RBI,” said Ms Usha Ananthasubramanian, Chairman & Managing Director, Bharatiya Mahila Bank, while expressing her happiness over receiving the award. The bank has automated almost all the processes and will soon be launching internet banking and mobile banking services. The internet banking system of the bank will be offering certain first of its kind, value added services, she added. Besides, the Mahila Bank is planning to add 12 branches shortly.
