West Godavari: Gold Jewellery Worth Rs 2cr Seized. On Thursday night in Tanuku town in West Godavari district, the income tax officials have raided a jewellery shop. The income tax officials have seized huge quantity of gold ornaments.
Eluru: On Thursday night in Tanuku town in West Godavari district, the income tax officials have raided a jewellery shop. The income tax officials have seized huge quantity of gold ornaments. The value of the gold ornaments seized in this raid is said to be worth Rs 2cr approximately.
It is learnt that no proper documentation was held for the seized gold ornaments, as reported by the officials. A case has been booked against the owner of the jewellery shop. The raids continued from last not till early in the morning on Friday.
