If you have been to a pub or a discotheque recently you will be familir with the phrase Chaar Botal Vodka. Well, we are not talking about the spirit here but about a song by Yo Yo Honey Singh which has become a rage among youngsters.

While I was checking out interesting tweets today, I came across an interesting argument by a user in the name of ROflIndia who wants to campaign to make this song a rational anthem. Wonder why? Check out his reason for why the peppy number deserves to be India's Rational Anthem..
On his Facebook page, he posted: "I see no reason why 'Char Botal Vodka' shouldn't be made our new Rational Anthem. Look, Tagore, Bankim and Iqbal were all nice and patriotic poets, but none had the guile or gizzard befitting of a fierce social revolutionary, the kind our Yo Yo displays at will. In 'Char Botal', Yo Yo beautifully describes the aesthetic set of principles that our funky youth hold as hallowed, indispensable, sacrosanct and, of course, incontrovertibly true. Certainly it is not about vodka, or imbibing insane quantities thereof. It is about an expression of robust solidarity with a generation of patriotic boys and girls high on pocket money and drunk on the spirit of distilled nationalism who believe in democracy and the multi party system, that is, two parties every weekday and three parties each on Saturdays and Sundays. In my humble opinion, Char Botal is not a rap, its a precise philosophy."
