Budugu gearing up for release

Lakshmi Manchu’s upcoming film ‘Budugu’ is touted to be an intense and engaging film that is a family thriller. Written and directed by Manmohan, the film is based on real life incidents and will reportedly depict some mysterious and shocking incidents in the life of an eight-year-old boy upsetting an otherwise normal family. The central theme is how the family comes out of these unexpected twists and turns that threaten to disturb their lives.

The film is going to complete shooting very shortly. The film is produced under the banner of Hyderabad Innovatives Private Limited. Lakshmi Manchu and Sreedhar Rao play important and critical roles in the file while the main protagonist ‘Budugu’ is played by Master Prem Babu. The other cast includes Sana, Indu Anand, Baby Dolly, Sailaja Vani and Troy. Speaking about the film, Director Manmohan said, “The film is inspired by real life incidents in the life of a family that is known to me. The story is written by me after a lot of research and deep discussions with child psychologists.”
