Providing transport for commuters of Hyderabad Metro Rail will be a major confront for any metro city but Telangana state has found a very good solution for it. Mahindra and Mahindra company has come forward to arrange transportation services to metro rail commuters to pick up and drop them from their places to railway stations. Suiting the vision of KCR to make the city pollution free, the company has agreed to provide battery operated cars.
The battery recharge stations in various parts of the twin cities will be set up along with the government support to facilitate the battery charging of the cars.
It is learnt that the first line of Metro Rail from Nagole to Mettuguda will be operational from next year Ugadi. The officials are conducting trial runs in this area in the previous week. The second line of Metro Rail from Miyapur to SR Nagar, however, will be available for public use from August 15, 2015.
