Hyderabad: On the eve of the 68th Independence Day, the students of the Lotus Lap Public School have prepared a giant national flag of length 2014ft in Hyderabad. The flag was unveiled by Swamy Goud, the Chairman of Telangana State Council, at the Tank Bund. The students moved forward chanting the slogans Bharat Mata ki Jai, Jai Bolo Swatantra Bharat Ki Jai et al. The school staff said that they wanted to prepare a giant flag initially and thought of 2014ft to denote year 2014.
