Minor girl gangraped
Of late, an incident wherein a class X student was gangraped by five men has come into light on Monday. According to Ravulapalem police, a girl from Lakshmipolavaram of Ravulapalem Mnadal, who is a student of X class at Podagatlapally High School, was gangraped by five men.

The victim was on her way to school on August 6. On the way to her school, she was attacked by Geddada Sreenu along with four other reprobates. She was forced taken into a nearby house and raped repeatedly. Few people rushed the house listening to the screams of the girl. Immediately, the accused five men ran away from the spot.
The victim disclosed everything to her aunt who in turn complained to the village head but to no avail. As they didn’t get justice, the matter was taken to the police on Monday. The victim was sent to Kothapet hospital for medical checkups. The case has been investigated by M Veera Reddy, the DSP of Amalapuram, added BS Appa Rao, the SI of Police.
