The budget amounting Rs 1.11L has been approved by the state cabinet, before the introduction of the same in the state cabinet. The highlights of the budget are as follows:

Total budgeted amount is Rs 1,11,824cr
- Rs 85,151cr spared for expenditure other than planned
- Rs26,000cr allocated for planned expenditure
- Revenue deficit – RS 6,064cr
- Financial deficit – Rs 12,06cr
- Deficit in finance from domestic product – Rs 2.30cr
- Deficit in revenue from domestic product – Rs 1.16cr
- Revenue deficit as per Vote on Account Budget – Rs 25,274cr
- Financial deficit as per Vote on Account Budget – Rs 37,910cr
