Hare Krishna Movement Celebrates Sri Nandotsavam, Sri Vyasa Puja, Hare Krishna Movement -Hyderabad celebrated Sri Nandotsavam with pomp and gaiety.

Hare Krishna Movement -Hyderabad celebrated Sri Nandotsavam with pomp and gaiety. The festivities began with Jhulan Utsavam to “Venne Krishna” who was decorated with invaluable jewels & ornaments, specially made clothes, & flower decorations. This was followed by Jhulan Seva to the Lord and finally the Deity will be put to rest by offering Ekantha Seva

Vyasa Puja: Celebrations on the occasion of appearance of Acharya Srila Prabhupada who established ISKCON in 1966. Devotees offered their Homages and expressed their gratitude to their spiritual master and performed Grand Guru Puja to seek blessings of the spiritual master.

Speaking on the occasion Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa - President of Hare Krishna Movement said “Nandotsav is a festival celebrated on the next day of Janmashtami- Lord Krishna's birth; It is believed that all the villagers of Braj visited Nand Baba's house to see little Krishna and congratulate Mata Yashoda. Nand Baba distributed ornaments, clothes, cattle and various other valuables among saints and sages. All saints and sages bestowed blessings on Lord Krishna in return. In Vrindavan this auspicious day is celebrated very pompously.”

Specially made 1008 preparations for the pleasure of Srila Prabhupada, cooked by devotees were offered and were distributed as Maha Prasadam for one & all, on this auspicious 118 Appearance Day of Srila Prabhupada, His contribution to the World was remembered as below :-

  • He established 108 gorgeous Krishna Temples around the globe in just 12 years.
  • He travelled around the globe around 14 times preaching Krishna Tattva in just 12 years.
  • He translated & authored more than 60 volumes of Vedic Classics viz., Bhagavad Gita & Sriamad Bhagavatam etc
  • He established Free Food Distribution programmes viz., Akshaya Patra which feeds 14 lakhs children every single day.
  • He established many gurukuls, farm communities etc around the world etc.
