Traffic curbs for Ganesh idol sale, transportation, City police have imposed traffic restrictions in order to avoid congestion and maintain smooth flow of traffic during the sale and transportation of Ganesh Idols in Dhoolpet area.

Hyderabad: City police have imposed traffic restrictions in order to avoid congestion and maintain smooth flow of traffic during the sale and transportation of Ganesh Idols in Dhoolpet area. The restrictions will be in force from 2 pm on August 26 to 2 pm on August 30.

No vehicle will be allowed from Bhoiguda Kaman crossroads towards Gandhi statue at Puranapul via Mangalhat police station. The general traffic coming from Darussalam, intending to go to Puranapul should go via Panmandi, Ghode ki Kabar, Jhinsi Chowrahi, Jumerath Bazaar and Puranapul.

Traffic coming from Asifnagar, intending to go to Puranapul, will take right turn at Aghapura crossroads and move towards Ghode ki Kabar, Jhinsi Chowrahi, Gulzar Baitak, Jumerath Bazaar and Puranapul.

Traffic will not be allowed towards Bhoiguda Kaman from Gandhi statue.

Trucks for the transport of Ganesh idols are allowed to park their vehicles at Jumerath Bazaar ground and will be allowed only after midnight to carry the idols. Two-wheelers and cars coming from Puranapul side for the purchase of idols can be parked in Raheempura lane.

Vehicles coming from Sitarambagh and Darussalam can park in the lanes of Aghapura.

Trolley autos, trucks and other vehicles coming to load Ganesh idols will enter from Gandhi statue at Puranapul, Jali Hanuman, Mangalhat police station, Shankar Cafe and exit through Bhoiguda Kaman.

No vehicle will be allowed either empty or carrying Ganesh idols in the opposite direction i.e. from Bhoiguda Kaman, Shankar Cafe, Mangalhat police station, Jali Hanuman and Puranapul.
