Tollywood producer Bellamkonda Suresh was in for a shock on Tuesday night when the associates of Lakshmi Manchu came knocking on his door. They barged into Suresh's house demanding that he settles the pending amount immediately.
Suresh owes money to the production crew of his last movie "oo kodathara ulikki padathara". It is learnt that the producer had rent the sets of the movie for Jr NTR's upcoming movie Rabhasa. The talk is that Suresh had promised Manchu Lakshmi that he would pay an amount of Rs 58 lakhs for using the set. They now allege that Suresh failed to live up to his words.
Soon as word got out that Rabhasa will hit theatres this Friday (August 29), Lakshmi's associates staged a sit-in in front of Suresh's filmnagar residence at 9pm on Tuesday night. The police had to intervene to calm them down and send them away. They demanded that they will allow release of NTR's Rabhasa only after Suresh settles the dues. It now remains to be seen if this will affect Rabhasa release in any way.
