While the coming together of superstars Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan has already sent fans into a tizzy, the latest news will further heighten their spirits. The duo is set to groove together in their upcoming flick, ‘Gopala Gopala’; now isn’t that a good news?

A source close to the project tells Hans Talkies that a song has been specially added to the script to cash in on the immense popularity of Pawan Kalyan. The source adds, “While a decision has not been made on what the backdrop of the song would be, it is possible that a mass song will be conceived to draw in crowds.”


Also, Pawan Kalyan’s appearance slated for 25 minutes initially has now been extended by 10 minutes. “While Akshay Kumar’s scenes from the original have been retained, a couple of additions have been made to the script. Happy with the output till now, Pawan has straight away allocated extra dates for the scenes,” the source tells us.


Progressing in Hyderabad at present, ‘Gopala Gopala’, a joint venture between Suresh Babu and Sharat Marar, is expected to release during Sankranti next year. A remake of Hindi superhit film, ‘OMG – Oh My God!’, It also stars Mithun Chakraborthy, Shriya Saran and Diksha Panth in supporting roles. The first look of the film is expected to be out on Vinayaka Chavithi this week or on Pawan’s birthday on September 2.
