Medak: In an inhuman act, an anganwadi worker detained a child in a dark chamber. The incident occurred in K Venkatapuram of Ramayampet mandal in Medak district. Anganwadi worker Shyamala was fed up with the girl Durga Bhavani and locked her up in a dark room. By knowing this incident, parents of the girl and villagers staged a protest at anganwadi centre. The child was shifted to hospital for treatment.
