Visakhapatnam: A passenger Bethireddy Padmanabha Srinivasa Reddy was apprehended by the intelligence wing of Customs at local airport as he was found carrying 12 gold bars weighing 1399.68 gm worth Rs 39.39 lakh. Reddy arrived here by Air-India flight (AI 952) from Dubai via Hyderabad on Thursday. Officials apprehended him while he was trying to walk through the green channel. Investigation is on, said Assistant Commissioner of Customs (airport) V Ramanadha Reddy.
