Caution bell rings in Srikalahasti temple

On Friday night, a pillar in the Asthalingottara Mandap in Srikalahasti got leaned to one side, due to which the devotees took all possible ways to run from the location. The Mandap is ready to fall down at any time. The devotees who were in the queue line ran away from the location. This Mandap is learnt to be very historical and the temple committee opines that the renovation work is under progress and nothing undesired would happen.

Nevertheless, there are previous instances wherein the apex of the temple fell down. The same version was given then also by the authorities. However, the same has fallen down and the repair work took some months.
