It is worth recollecting that an amount of Rs 4L fake currency being supplied from Bangladesh to Hyderabad for exchange was seized by the police, on August 7. Apart from seizing the currency, a man was also held by the police. Also, it is evident that a police constable was killed when the cops attacked a mob for their alleged involvement in the fake currency exchange racket.

Apart from killing the police constable, a Sub Inspector of Police was also injured in that incident. Over a period of time, Hyderabad has become the base for the fake currency rotation and many other crimes. In the past, many times cases of fake notes appear in the ATMs have come into the light.
