Is Pawan Kalyan only person morphed on currency note?

A morphed Pawan Kalyan image on the Indian currency note, which went viral on Facebook social media, has become controversial and has lead to the episode wherein two lawyers from Telangana - Balaraju and Arun lodged a complaint against Pawan Kalyan and those morphed Pawan in place of Gandhi, stating that the Mahatma was insulted. This point is for obvious reasons valid and there is second thought about it. But the question here is whether this is the first ever case of such nature?

If we clearly look into such issues, this is not the first time such a thing has happened. If an initiative like this could have been taken at previous instances, there should not have been recurrences. There are references of other celebrities like Rajinikanth and Sachin Tendulkar, whose images replaced Gandhi’s. Also, in one of the movies in Munna Bhai series, a visual representation of Sanjay Dutt on currency note was shown. It could have been considered by the sensor board.

Placed below are the few other images which made their presence on the social media and went viral just like in the case of Pawan Kalyan. Nevertheless, there hasn’t been any issue, previously.

The lawyers who filed a case against Pawan Kalyan also objected the sentences that were written along with the picture stating ” if Pawan Kalyan would have born 50 years ago, his image would have been in Gandhi’s place”. A case was registered against the actor at LB Nagar police station in this regard. They demanded the removal of the image from Facebook and held Pawan Kalyan as responsible.

Few people opine that it has become a habit of some lawyers to stay in limelight by creating controversy of petty things by lodging complaint against celebrities to show them in bad light.

Such things may sound petty thing for some people and for some others it may be a very serious issue. Whatsoever the case may be, rule should be one for all and the same is not to be violated in any manner!!
