5 cases registered against 'snake gang'

Hyderabad: Five cases have been registered against members of Snake gang who gang-raped an 18-year-old girl at Shaheennagar under Pahadisharif police station on July 31 by threatening her with snake. Pahadisharif police produced the main accused Faisal Dayani and others members of the gang in a court in Rangareddy district on Saturday apart from registering five cases against them. Cases were registered on charges of committing gang-rape, thrashing a person severely, flouting of the Wildlife Protection Act, threatening people and indulging in land-grab. The accused were sent to police remand till September 4.
