AP to integrate all sectors for fast growth
AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be unveiling a new ‘life science and biotech policy’ at the first international conference on Marine and Agricultural Bio-Technology.
Hyderabad: AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be unveiling a new ‘life science and biotech policy’ at the first international conference on Marine and Agricultural Bio-Technology, organised jointly by Godavari Knowledge Park (GKP) and the AP government at the Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University (JNTU) campus in Kakinada from October 16.
Eminent scientists, UN delegates and industrialists across the globe, and senior officials from Central and State governments will be attending the three-day conference.
A press release said the objective of the conference was to provide a platform for new initiatives and partnerships for researchers, technologists, venture capitalists and policy makers to set a roadmap for the State as a bio-tech destination. The conference would also create awareness on the need of deep research in biotechnology and promote applied research in academic institutions to share socio-technically relevant ideas.
