KCR’s stand on SC classification sought
The Mahajana Socialist Party (MSP) president Manda Krishna Madiga, who is also the founder of the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS), asked the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to declare openly whether he was committed to the classification of SCs or not.

Speaking to press persons at Press Club here on Monday, Manda Krishna Madiga alleged that Chandrasekhar Rao, who promised to make a Dalit as Chief Minister once Telangana state is formed, had deceived Dalits. He expressed doubts on the Chief Minister that he might not be committed to SC categorization as he did not fulfill the promise of making a Dalit as Chief Minister.
Manda Krishna Madiga demanded the Chief Minister to make a public statement on SC classification within two days. He made it clear that the MRPS would work with an aim of defeating the Congress in the by-elections for the Medak Lok Sabha seat. He slammed the Congress party for deceiving Madigas when they were in power in the State and at the Centre.
