Yanamala comes to blows with Ramachandraiah in state council, On Tuesday morning - in the state assembly – there was a wordy duel between Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, the finance minister of Andhra Pradesh, and the leader of opposition in the state council P Ramachandraiah – on the matter concerning the new capital for the residuary state of Andhra Pradesh.

Yanamala said that the matter about the state capital was decided in the state cabinet. He said that a decision will be taken by the state government and the same will be informed by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in the state assembly, accordingly.
Over this issue, C Ramachandraiah reminded of the promise made previously by the state government that a discussion was required on the report submitted by the Sivaramakrishnan committee. He wondered whether there was any importance to the state council.
Countering the same, Yanamala wondered why an issue was being created over this issue. Reacting to the same, Ramachandraiah fired on Yanamala and wondered where was the question of creation of an issue if asked to implement the promise made previously.
