Man found dead in lodge

Hyderabad: A man was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a lodging house in Jeedimetla on Sunday. Police said the deceased booked a room under the name Satyanarayana, 38, an employee of Vasantha Tools, in Ravindra lodge in Jeedimetla area on Saturday.Workers in the lodge grew suspicious as they found his room locked for several hours and alerted the police on Sunday.

The police personnel reached the lodge and after breaking open the doors found Satyanarayana lying dead. Police registered a case under section 174 (suspicious death) of the CrPC.

Meanwhile, in another incident a student of a private college died under suspicious circumstances in a hostel room at Dar-ul-Shifa under Dabeerpura police limits late on Thursday night.The exact reason behind the death of Haricharan, 21, a native of Nizamabad, is yet to be ascertained, the police said.
