Manchu Manoj who burst on to the scene with ‘Donga Dongadi’, a remake of Tamil hit ‘Thiruda Thirudi’ has chosen another Tamil remake to complete a decade in the industry. Yes the rocking star’s latest film ‘Current Theega’ is a remake of Siva Kathikeyan-starrer Tamil hit ‘Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam’. Looking back at his decade in the industry, he says, “I was not great at studies but films were something that I wanted to be a part of since childhood. Dasari garu is one of my inspirations to get into the industry. My family and friends stood by me during my thick and thin and they are my support system.”
In fact, Dasari wants the actor to be more cautious now that he has good experience behind him. “He has choreographed good action sequences for the film but it’s high time he takes precautionary measures before resorting to risky stunts. He should believe that an actor is a public property,” he warns.
Even Manoj’s father Mohan Babu wants the actor to refrain from indulging in dicey action blocks.
