BJP Retains Vadodara Seat in By-Election. The counting for by-elections had begun at 8 a.m. on Tuesday in as many as 10 states. At some places the results have been announced.
The counting for by-elections had begun at 8 a.m. on Tuesday in as many as 10 states. At some places the results have been announced. Vadodara Lok Sabha constituency which was vacated after the resignation of Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, has been retained by the BJP. Niranjan Bhatt, the BJP candidate, has won the seat with a majority of 1,83,000 votes.
It is worth recollecting that Narendra Modi has won the Lok Sabha seats both at Vadodara and Varanasi. Nevertheless, he preferred to retain Varanasi seat to Vadodara.
